26 Sept 2011: OriGen named one of
the 100 fastest growing Inner City companies in the US.
Our ranking was #52 in the 2011 Initiative for a Competitive
Inner City (ICIC). Up from #90 ranking in 2010.
Inc. Magazine ranked OriGen #1247 in its 5th Annual
Inc. 500/5000 list. This ranks the nation's fastest
growing private companies.
15 May 2010: OriGen named one of
the 100 fastest growing Inner City companies in the US
BusinessWeek magazine named Origen Biomedical as
the 90th fastest growing Inner City business in the US for
the fiscal year ending in 2008. You can jump

15 Mar 2010: OriGen moves to new Facility
Origen has relocated to a new, custom built 26,000 SF (2500

15 June 2009: OriGen appoints Greg Sansom as Controller.
Greg Sansom has joined Origen as the Financial controller.
Greg brings 20 years of experience in financial and strategic
planning working in both large and small corporations. Greg
started his career in audits at Arthur Anderson is currently
a CPA, and has working experience at Dell, Ambion and Harcourt
Brace Publishing over the last 10 years.
11 Nov 2008: OriGen receives approval for PFC lavage
solutions. OriGen Biomedical announced today that
it has received regulatory approval for distribution of Perflubronc®
Lung Lavage solutions in Europe and Canada. These perfluorocarbon
solutions represent a major advance in lung lavage, owing
to their clarity, biocompatibility and density.
26 Nov 2007: OriGen adopts HIBCC bar coding standard.
The company has today announced its adoption of an inclusion
in the Health Industry Bar Code Supplier Labeling Standard
ANSI/HIBC 2.2. The intent is for all OriGen products made
after 01 Jan 2008 to include the appropriate HIBCC bar code
on the primary labeling. Where important for customer needs,
we will be bar coding products in inventory before the bar
coding standard went into effect.
20 Sept 2007: OriGen receives CE marking for DMSO
cryopreservation solutions. We have recently received
clearance to market our DMSO cryopreservation solutions from
AMTAC, our European Notified Body. Origen has received certification
for our sterile cryopreservation solutions to carry the CE
mark. Formal product launch is to be at the AABB in Anaheim
