26 Nov 2007: OriGen adopts HIBCC bar coding standard. The company has today announced its adoption of an inclusion in the Health Industry Bar Code Supplier Labeling Standard ANSI/HIBC 2.2. The intent is for all OriGen products made after 01 Jan 2008 to include the appropriate HIBCC bar code on the primary labeling. Where important for customer needs, we will be bar coding products in inventory before the bar coding standard went into effect.

20 Sept 2007: OriGen receives CE marking for DMSO cryopreservation solutions. We have recently received clearance to market our DMSO cryopreservation solutions from AMTAC, our European Notified Body. Origen has received certification for our sterile cryopreservation solutions to carry the CE mark. Formal product launch is to be at the AABB in Anaheim next October. 08 May 2007: Company names Aidet Cooper to Sr. Accountant position. Aidet Cooper has joined Origen as the Senior Staff accountant. She is coming to Origen from Southwest Key Financial, and has a background as Financial Controller. Aidet will oversee all accounting functions as well as order fulfillment operations.
